Corey Cofer received his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and began his career with a 6.5 year stint in the mining industry primarily as a Environmental Health and Safety Manager for a growing organization spanning across the U.S. and Canada. Corey has provided leadership in the development of an EHS and GIS/Surveying department, various Phase 1 Due Diligence Audits, environmental and capital expenditure permitting activities for the mining and minerals manufacturing sector, company-wide environmental and safety program assessment, development, and management.
Directly prior to joining Reagan Smith Energy Solutions, Inc., Corey served as the Environmental Compliance Program Manager for Oklahoma State University where he was involved in Title V air permitting for a new Central Plant, hazardous waste, SPCC, and compliance for the Water Treatment Plant. Corey attributes organizational success to relationships, leadership and example, solid focus on QA/QC, performance metrics, goal monitoring, and the pursuit of continuous improvement in all facets of the business. In his spare time, Corey enjoys activities such as fishing, hunting, cooking, mountain climbing, traveling, volunteer service, and quality time with friends and family.
