Alex Sherman joined Reagan Smith Energy Solutions in May 2014. Alex graduated in the spring of 2013 from the University of Oklahoma where he wrote his capstone thesis on the vernacular geography of poverty in the state of Oklahoma. At OU Alex mainly researched the spatial characteristics of demographic change, urban planning and human impact on the environment. Throughout school Alex maintained a close interest in cartography and Geographic Information Systems which he now uses at Reagan Smith Energy Solutions to graphically represent permitting, leasing, wildlife and environmental data. In this capacity Alex also communicates with the GIS specialists of client companies and government agencies to collect data and ensure the transition of data goes smoothly.
